For the LindyBurg Swing, we offer you 3,5 hours of workshops in 3 levels and a taster class in switch dancing. We have invited 6 amazing teachers from Germany and the Netherlands. Additionally, you can book private lessons with them. On Saturday evening, we will have a social dance party with live music performed by the wonderful Rootbirds!

Für das Wochenende haben wir 3,5 Stunden Workshops in 3 Levels und eine Taster Stunde organisiert. Wir haben 6 tollen Lehrer aus Deutschland und den Niederlanden zu Besuch. Zusätzlich könnt Ihr Privatstunden bei Ihnen nehmen. Am Samstagabend gibts eine Social Dance Party mit Rootbirds' Live-Musik!

Main location for courses and party is the Alhambra. Also, some courses will take place in rooms within walking distance (10 mins).

Start of the classes is at 11.00 a.m. You will have three classes of 70 mins, with a lunch break in-between.

Private lessons can take place on saturday (4.30pm) and sunday (morning).

The taster will start at 7.15 p.m. and the party at 8.15 p.m.

Hauptort für Kurse und Partys ist das Alhambra. Einige Kurse finden auch in anderen Räumen statt, die fußläufig in 10 Minuten erreicht werden können.

Der Beginn der Kurse ist 11.00 Uhr. Du wirst drei Kurse à 70 Minuten haben, es gibt eine Mittagspause.

Der Privatunterricht kann am Samstag (16.30 Uhr) und Sonntag (morgens) stattfinden.

Der Taster beginnt um 19.15 Uhr, die Party um 20.15 Uhr.

Your full ticket will cost between 45 and 65 Euros, according to your financial capabilities. If you book private lessons, this will be priced individually.

Dein komplettes Ticket wird zwischen 45 und 65 Euro kosten, je nach deinen finanziellen Möglichkeiten. Falls du Privatunterricht buchst,  wird der Preis individuell berechnet.

Approx. 1/2 year of Lindy Hop dancing experience. I have already attended at least one course in Lindy Hop and have also danced on Social Events. I know the basic steps of 6- and 8-Count and can dance some figures and variations with them. I can lead/ follow several change place variations and I come easily from the closed to the open position and back. Besides the Swing Out and Circle, I know basics like the Hand to Hand and the Tandem Charleston. I’m looking forward to develope my basics and learn new figures in a relaxed atmosphere. With Solo Jazz I have no or little experience.

Ca. 1/2 Jahr Tanzerfahrung im Lindy Hop. Ich habe schon mindestens ein halbes Jahr einen Kurs im Lindy Hop besucht und das Gelernte auch schon auf Social Dances ausprobiert. Ich kenne die Grundschritte  im 6- und 8-Count und kann damit schon einige Figuren und Variationen tanzen. Ich kann auf verschiedene Arten den Platz wechseln und komme problemlos von der geschlossenen in die offene Position und zurück. Ich kenne außer dem Swing Out und Lindy Circle auch Basics wie Hand to Hand und Tandem Charleston. Ich habe Lust, in entspannter Atmosphäre meine Basics zu erweitern und neue Figuren zu lernen. Mit Solo-Jazz habe ich bisher wenig oder keine Erfahrung und bin neugierig, die Basics zu lernen.

Approx. 1 year of Lindy Hop dancing experience. I take part in a fixed, weekly course, know and attend the Social Dances  of my local scene, and I maybe already took part in different workshops with international teachers. I can lead/follow the differences of 6- and 8- Count.  I adapt my dancing to the music and can change, for example, from Lindy Hop to Charleston Feeling. Besides variations of basic  figures, e.g. Texas Tommy and Swing Out Inside/Outside Turn, I know some rhythm and footwork stylings  (Kick Ball Change etc.). I try to connect to my dancing partner and to the music and to adapt to different styles of leading/following. I might already have learned a Solo Jazz Routine (e.g. the Shim Sham, Rolling Rhythm). I know Solo Jazz Basics like Suzy Q and Tacky Annie. I would like to improve my Solo Jazz Basics.

Ca. 1 Jahr Tanzerfahrung im Lindy Hop. Ich nehme an einem festen, wöchentlichen Kurs teil, kenne und besuche die Social Dances meiner lokalen Szene und war eventuell auch schon auf  Workshops mit internationalen Trainer_innen dabei. Ich kann die Unterschiede von 6 und 8-Count führen/folgen. Ich passe meinen Tanzstil der Musik an und wechsle z.B. auch vom Lindy Hop zum Charleston Feeling.  Ich führe/folge sicher Variationen von Basisfiguren, z.B. Texas Tommy und Swing Out Inside/Outside Turn und beherrsche eventuell auch schon einige Rhythmus- oder Footwork-Stylings (Kick-Ball-Change etc.). Ich versuche, auf meinen Partner und die Musik einzugehen und mich an unterschiedliche Lead- und  Follow- Stile anzupassen.  Ich habe eventuell schon eine Solo Jazz Routine (z.B. den Shim-Sham, Rolling Rhythm) gelernt, Solo Basics wie Suzie Q und Tacky Annie sind mir ein Begriff. Ich möchte meine Basics verfeinern.

Approx. 3 years of Lindy Hop dancing experience. I am an active social dancer and I can easily dance with new partners and to faster music. I have already attended numerous international workshops. I also deal outside the classroom with Swing/Jazz and Lindy Hop. I can react to spontaneous impulses of my partner. To match the music, I bring my own rhythm and styling variants into the dance. I have already learned some Solo Jazz Routines and I know some Solo Jazz Vocabulary (Suzie Q, Tackie Annie etc.). I am eager to work on my dancing expression and creativity.

Ca. 3 Jahre Tanzerfahrung im Lindy Hop. Ich bin ein aktiver Socialdancer und scheue auch fremde Leads/Follows und schnellere Tempi nicht. Ich habe schon zahlreiche internationale Workshops im In- und Ausland besucht. Auch außerhalb des Unterrichts spielen Swing/Jazz und Lindy Hop eine wichtige Rolle in meinem Leben. Ich kann auf spontane Impulse meines Partners/ meiner Partnerin reagieren. Passend  zur Musik bringe ich eigene Rhythmus- und Styling-Varianten in den Tanz mit ein. Ich habe schon einige Routines gelernt und beherrsche das Solo Jazz Vokabular (Suzie Q, Tacky Annie, usw.) sicher. Ich habe Lust, an meinem Ausdruck und meiner Kreativität zu arbeiten.
